Destressing

I am trying to destress. Started several of these dolls just to keep my ming occupied. Mum fell last week. Luckily I had just come out of the shower so heard her call out. She hurt her head but thank goodness nothing serious. Have to get some eye procedure done hope she will be ok.
Too scared to let her alone at home now. But sometimes it is not possible to be there all the time. So I just started these to keep myself occupied πŸ˜„.
I hope I will be able to finish them and they won’t hang around too long.

  1. So sorry to hear about your mum Shashi, it is a worry when parents are growing older. I lost my mum and dad some years ago, but Terry’s parents are still alive, and they seem to get frailer every time we see them. Our son in Australia worries about us getting older, but hopefully we have a few good years yet. Two of my friends fell earlier this year. One broke her pelvis and the other her spine, and it’s taking months for them to get well.
I hope your new dolls help with the stress.

    1. It is a worry Barbara because i notice in my mum that she still thinks she can do the same things she did when she was younger. No matter what we say she refuses to listen. Not easy to maker her understand that she just does not have the same steady hand or feet.

    1. Yes very scary, now we have someone with her mst of the time. At first she used to resent anyone paying too much attention to her now after her fall she has accepted that she does need someone looking over her.πŸ˜„

  3. I'm sorry to her that your mom fell, just glad it wasn't too serious. She's fortunate that you were there for her.

These dolls have cute body shapes and leg styles. Hopefully making dolls will keep you busy and less stressed. Wishing you and your mom well.

    1. Mum is ok. Sandy. Had her checked out by the doctor and he reassured us that there is no change since he saw her last time. But said we would need to do an ECG on her next appointment.
      Thank you for enquiring
